abord\u00e9<\/a>.\u00a0 Les nutritionnistes ont en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral un certain choix d\u2019ingr\u00e9dients pour obtenir les meilleures performances des animaux de rente, en tenant compte du co\u00fbt.\u00a0 L\u2019objectif g\u00e9n\u00e9ral est toujours le m\u00eame\u00a0: fournir le nombre juste suffisant de <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Food_energy\">calories<\/a> dans la ration alimentaire pour maximiser une r\u00e9action (croissance, production de viande, lait, \u0153ufs, etc.), mais pas davantage afin de maximiser l\u2019efficacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9nergie est habituellement apport\u00e9e sous forme de glucides \u2013\u00a0le plus souvent <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Starch\">d\u2019amidon<\/a> provenant des graines de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales, comme le ma\u00efs\u00a0\u2013 et de <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Animal_fat\">mati\u00e8res grasses<\/a> et <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vegetable_oil\">d\u2019huiles<\/a>, comme l\u2019huile v\u00e9g\u00e9tale (huile de soja par exemple).\u00a0 Les imp\u00e9ratifs \u00e9conomiques li\u00e9s au choix des ingr\u00e9dients, et ce fait que les mati\u00e8res grasses et huiles ont, en moyenne, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Food_energy\">2,25\u00a0fois plus d\u2019\u00e9nergie<\/a> que les glucides, dictent ce que doit contenir une ration alimentaire compl\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<p>En apparence, apporter la quantit\u00e9 souhait\u00e9e de calories dans un aliment complet est la seule chose qui compte.\u00a0 L\u2019origine des calories \u2013\u00a0glucides ou lipides\u00a0\u2013 est souvent consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme sans importance.\u00a0 Les conclusions d\u2019une <a href=\"http:\/\/nutrition.ansci.illinois.edu\/sites\/default\/files\/2013LemanSwineConf.pdf\">r\u00e9cente \u00e9tude<\/a> montrent toutefois que les choses ne sont pas si simples.\u00a0 \u00c9tonnamment, les auteurs minimisent leurs propres constatations, mais comme je le souligne ici, je ne suis pas tout \u00e0 fait d\u2019accord.<\/p>\n<p>Les auteurs ont localis\u00e9 une source unique et homog\u00e8ne de ma\u00efs, et ont concass\u00e9 celui-ci en 4 tailles de particules diff\u00e9rentes.\u00a0 Ils ont ensuite remarqu\u00e9 que lorsque la taille des particules diminuait (plus fines), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.extension.org\/pages\/27440\/dietary-energy-for-swine#.U8bxubH5d64\">l\u2019\u00e9nergie m\u00e9tabolisable<\/a> pour les porcs augmentait.\u00a0 En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, les cochons \u00e9taient capables de tirer un peu plus d\u2019\u00e9nergie (121\u00a0kilocalories\/kg pour les tailles de particules utilis\u00e9es dans cette \u00e9tude) du ma\u00efs lorsqu\u2019il \u00e9tait moulu en particules plus petites.\u00a0 Ce r\u00e9sultat \u00e9tait pr\u00e9visible.<\/p>\n<p>Les auteurs ont alors formul\u00e9 des aliments commerciaux avec une \u00e9nergie totale \u00e9gale en utilisant le ma\u00efs en diff\u00e9rentes tailles de particules, et en ajoutant de l\u2019huile de soja aux aliments ayant les particules de ma\u00efs les plus grosses pour conserver le m\u00eame niveau d\u2019\u00e9nergie.\u00a0 Comme il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9termin\u00e9 que les rations avec les plus grandes particules de ma\u00efs offraient une \u00e9nergie m\u00e9tabolisable moindre, l\u2019huile de soja a combl\u00e9 la diff\u00e9rence.\u00a0 Donc, dans cette situation, nous avions une \u00e9nergie alimentaire totale fournie aux cochons \u00e9gale, mais les calories provenaient de diff\u00e9rentes proportions de glucides et lipides (huile de soja, dans ce cas).\u00a0 Alors, quelles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les performances des porcs\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.insta-pro.com-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/graph-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.insta-pro.com-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/graph-1-300x184.png\" alt=\"graphique 1\" width=\"400\" height=\"247\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>J\u2019ai fait appara\u00eetre ici les donn\u00e9es principales pour les statistiques, mais les autres ont suivi cette tendance \u2013\u00a0l\u2019augmentation de l\u2019\u00e9nergie provenant de l\u2019huile de soja a r\u00e9duit la quantit\u00e9 journali\u00e8re moyenne ing\u00e9r\u00e9e par les cochons.\u00a0 Ceci pourrait \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme alarmant, sauf lorsqu\u2019on regarde les donn\u00e9es sur l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 alimentaire (gain de poids des porcs par rapport \u00e0 la nourriture ing\u00e9r\u00e9e).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.insta-pro.com-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/graph-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1811\" src=\"https:\/\/www.insta-pro.com-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/graph-2-300x184.png\" alt=\"graphique 2\" width=\"400\" height=\"247\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019efficacit\u00e9 alimentaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 notablement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e avec l\u2019apport d\u2019\u00e9nergie suppl\u00e9mentaire d\u00fb \u00e0 l\u2019huile de soja.\u00a0 On entend couramment dire qu\u2019il suffit d\u2019apporter les calories n\u00e9cessaires.<\/p>\n<p>Ce qui est d\u00e9montr\u00e9 ici, c\u2019est pourquoi il est si important de prendre en compte les donn\u00e9es de l\u2019animal, en plus des informations du laboratoire (qui sont \u00e9galement importantes).\u00a0 Les mati\u00e8res grasses et huiles occasionnent des effets dans l\u2019intestin qui optimisent la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mU6fl0yL43M\">digestibilit\u00e9<\/a> des nutriments, m\u00eame si le d\u00e9bit des nutriments dans l\u2019intestin est plut\u00f4t constant, et m\u00eame avec d\u2019importantes variations dans le niveau d\u2019\u00e9nergie alimentaire et la consommation (comme je l\u2019avais dit il y a quelques ann\u00e9es\u00a0; voir <a href=\"http:\/\/pubs.aic.ca\/doi\/abs\/10.4141\/A00-104\">ici<\/a> et <a href=\"http:\/\/www.journalofanimalscience.org\/content\/79\/5\/1250.full.pdf+html\">ici<\/a> pour les donn\u00e9es et l\u2019analyse).\u00a0 Donc l\u2019\u00e9nergie apport\u00e9e par l\u2019huile de soja poss\u00e8de des effets diff\u00e9rents qui sont b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques compar\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9nergie apport\u00e9e par l\u2019amidon (essentiellement) dans le ma\u00efs finement broy\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019un point de vue pratique, le tourteau de soja ExPress\u00ae, fabriqu\u00e9 avec des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insta-pro.com\/products-services\/extruders.html\">extrudeuses \u00e0 fort cisaillement<\/a> et des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insta-pro.com\/products-services\/presses.html\">presses \u00e0 huile m\u00e9caniques<\/a> de marque <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insta-pro.com\/\">Insta-Pro International<\/a>, contient davantage d\u2019huile de soja r\u00e9siduelle que le tourteau de soja standard extrait par solvant.\u00a0 Autrement dit, les aliments formul\u00e9s pour contenir du tourteau de soja
