De vez en cuando escuchamos sobre la pobreza, el hambre y la falta de alimentos en muchos pa\u00edses y deseamos poder ser parte de la soluci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Si nos atrevemos a leer lo que las predicciones y las tendencias estiman para el a\u00f1o 2050, algunos podemos sorprendernos al enterarnos lo derrochadores que somos.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldfoodprize.org\/\">Premio Mundial de la Alimentaci\u00f3n<\/a>, casi mil millones de personas al a\u00f1o pasan hambre, mientras que se pierden m\u00e1s de 1300 millones de alimentos al a\u00f1o en el sistema alimentario mundial.<\/p>\n<p>Esta tendencia se ver\u00e1 incluso m\u00e1s marcada si no ayudamos a buscar soluciones para usar los recursos que se desperdician. Las predicciones indican que la poblaci\u00f3n mundial llegar\u00e1 a los 9000 millones para 2050.<\/p>\n<p>Otra tendencia sobre la que se habl\u00f3 en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insta-pro.com\/es\/2013\/12\/31\/waste-not-want-not-2\/\">blogs anteriores<\/a> es la disminuci\u00f3n de los recursos de determinados ingredientes y los costos prohibitivos. La harina de pescado es un excelente ejemplo, ya que los mariscos capturados en estado salvaje son limitados y la acuicultura crece a un ritmo constante. Convencionalmente, los piensos acu\u00e1ticos usan harina de pescado como importante fuente de las prote\u00ednas, la energ\u00eda y los \u00e1cidos grasos requeridos que se encuentran en el aceite de pescado. El lado positivo es que, por muchos a\u00f1os, se prob\u00f3 la tecnolog\u00eda de la extrusi\u00f3n en seco (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.insta-pro.com\/products-services\/extruders.html\">extrusi\u00f3n de corte alto<\/a>) a trav\u00e9s de la coextrusi\u00f3n de ingredientes locales con subproductos como pescados y residuos marinos en fuentes digeribles de prote\u00ednas y energ\u00eda que pueden reemplazar con \u00e9xito a la costosa harina de pescado.<\/p>\n<p>A medida que los pa\u00edses subdesarrollados y en v\u00edas de desarrollo experimentan un crecimiento m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que los pa\u00edses desarrollados, sus segmentos poblacionales pasan de ser pobres a ser de clase media. El aumento de su poder de compra les permite consumir m\u00e1s prote\u00ednas y darse el lujo de tener una o dos mascotas.
